Navajos, Gas Co. Ask DC Circ. To Revive Uranium Waste Case

Law360, Washington (September 23, 2013, 8:25 PM EDT) -- The Navajo Nation and El Paso Natural Gas Co. pushed the D.C. Circuit on Monday to revive their request for a government cleanup of uranium waste on tribal land, arguing their claims aren't preempted by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act.
