10th Circ. Nixes Novell Antitrust Suit Against Microsoft

Law360, Los Angeles (September 23, 2013, 10:03 PM EDT) -- The Tenth Circuit on Monday killed software developer Novell Inc.'s antitrust suit alleging Microsoft Inc. blocked it from the market in the 1990s by cutting compatibility with its applications, agreeing with a lower court judge that Novell failed to prove any anti-competitive conduct.
