Coda Estate Gets Nod To Solicit Votes For Ch. 11 Plan

Law360, Wilmington (September 24, 2013, 7:52 PM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge gave the estate of defunct electric car maker Coda Holdings Inc. the green light Tuesday to solicit votes for its Chapter 11 plan, which would establish a liquidation trust to sell off the remaining assets from its $25 million sale approved in June.

The plan includes a contingency to cover a proposed settlement of a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act putative class action that had been filed by a former employee at Coda's Los Angeles facility, who claims he and others...
