NJ Landfill Operators Defrauded Regulators, State Says

Law360, New York (September 24, 2013, 6:19 PM EDT) -- A legal war between New Jersey and the owners and operators of a landfill escalated Tuesday, with the state suing the owners for allegedly defrauding environmental regulators, misappropriating tipping fees and failing to control noxious emissions.
