Law360, New York (September 24, 2013, 5:12 PM EDT) -- On the eve of a Senate committee hearing regarding the federal terrorism insurance program, the American Hotel & Lodging Association on Monday sent a letter to Senate committee leaders pushing for reauthorization of the program, arguing its expiration could have severe repercussions on the hospitality industry.
The lobby group has asked Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee Chairman Tim Johnson, D-S.D., and ranking member Michael Crapo, R-Idaho, to renew the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program.
