Motorola Loses Bid To Overturn Microsoft Win In FRAND Row

Law360, New York (September 25, 2013, 2:16 PM EDT) -- A Washington federal judge on Wednesday denied an effort by Motorola Inc. to overturn a jury's $14.5 million verdict against the company for its failure to license standard-essential patents to Microsoft Corp. on fair terms, ruling that the evidence at trial was sufficient to support the jury's finding.
