DOJ, FTC Issue Revised Antitrust Confidentiality Waiver

Law360, New York (September 25, 2013, 6:45 PM EDT) -- U.S. antitrust authorities on Wednesday issued a revised-model confidentiality waiver to stipulate how the agencies share information with their foreign counterparts in the context of cross-border investigations.

The newly revised model waiver of confidentiality, released by the Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division, is meant to update the waiver process to reflect the agencies' encounters in antitrust investigations in recent years.
