Wyeth Wins Against $4M Race Discrimination Suit

Law360, New York (February 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal jury handed down a verdict in favor of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals Inc. on Friday in a race discrimination and retaliation lawsuit brought against the company by a black employee, counsel for the drug company said.

The lawsuit, filed by Wyeth production engineer Howard Henry in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, was the first of seven currently pending race discrimination lawsuits to go to trial. Henry sought $4 million in damages in his complaint.
