Chicago Scrap Metal Recycling Company Enters Bankruptcy

Law360, New York (September 25, 2013, 5:42 PM EDT) -- A Chicago scrap metal recycling company on Tuesday sought Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection with plans to sell off its assets, blaming its financial woes on the dramatically decreased demand for its products and a still struggling economy.

Keywell LLC has received a bid to buy substantially all of its assets from fellow scrap metal recycler Cronimet Holdings Inc. but it will continue to seek higher offers.
