UBS Could Get New Trial In Gender Bias Suit

Law360, New York (February 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has affirmed a jury's finding that UBS Financial Services Inc. discriminated against a former stockbroker on the basis of her gender but has ruled that the company may seek a new trial if the plaintiff objects to his decision to slash her $3.5 million damages award to a little more than $400,000.
