KKR Puts Up $1.7B For Panasonic Health Care Unit

Law360, New York (September 27, 2013, 3:20 PM EDT) -- Private equity giant KKR & Co. LP confirmed Friday that it will fork over $1.67 billion for the health care unit of Panasonic Corp., marking the firm's largest Japanese investment and Asia's biggest buyout of the year.
