Exxon MTBE Leak Victims Want $1.5B High Court Reversal

Law360, New York (September 27, 2013, 2:50 PM EDT) -- Maryland families and businesses have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to reinstate a $1.5 billion verdict for personal harm and property damage from a 2006 Exxon Mobil Corp. underground gasoline leak, saying the state's high court threw up an ill-considered barrier to water contamination torts in erasing the award.
