Federal Circuit Yanks Garage Door Opener Stay

Law360, New York (February 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has revoked a preliminary injunction against Lear Corp., shooting the question of whether to issue a stay in a patent case over garage door openers back to the district court.

On Tuesday, the Federal Circuit opted to lift the tentative injunction that had been imposed earlier by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
