Republican Group Ducks $2M Award Over Perry Donation

Law360, Houston (September 27, 2013, 6:53 PM EDT) -- A Texas appeals court tossed former Congressman Chris Bell’s $2 million judgment against the Republican Governor’s Association on Friday, saying the group did not violate state election laws during Bell’s failed bid to oust Gov. Rick Perry in the 2006 gubernatorial race.
