US 'Destined' To Have Close India Military Ties, DOD Says

Law360, Washington (September 30, 2013, 2:28 PM EDT) -- U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said Monday that the U.S. is committed to ramping up its military technology and trade relationships with India and will press forward in spite of looming budget concerns, claiming the two are "destined to be strategic partners."
