Chevron Axes Damages To Skirt Jury In Ecuador Ruling Row

Law360, Los Angeles (September 30, 2013, 8:44 PM EDT) -- Chevron Corp. told a New York federal court Monday that it would not seek money damages against a lawyer it accuses of fraud in a lawsuit over a $19 billion Ecuadorean pollution judgment, as long as the court rules that the company’s claims will not be decided by a jury.
