NY Court Revives Netologic Breach Claim Against Goldman

Law360, New York (October 1, 2013, 4:06 PM EDT) -- A New York state appeals court on Tuesday revived a breach of contract claim brought by Netologic Inc. against Goldman Sachs Group Inc. saying the financial giant only partnered with the market analyst watchdog business "to get inside the walls” and mine its trade secrets.

A unanimous five-judge panel in New York's First Department, a mid-level appellate court, reversed trial court Judge Barbara R. Kapnick, who threw out a contract-related claim in June.
