Orlando Airport Authority OKs Rail Project Agreements

Law360, Miami (October 2, 2013, 7:36 PM EDT) -- The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority on Wednesday voted to approve a rail line easement and rail yard lease deal with Florida East Coast Industries Inc., marking another step forward for the company's planned $1.5 billion passenger line connecting Miami and Orlando.

The GOAA signed off on an agreement with FEC's All Aboard Florida Operations LLC that includes a rail line easement for the rail corridor through the airport, use of a planned airport intermodal station and the lease of a rail maintenance yard.
