Collective Action Cert. Stripped In Well Co. FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (October 4, 2013, 2:39 PM EDT) -- An Arkansas federal judge stripped collective action certification in a wage and hour suit brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act by former employees of Texas-based oil field service firm Surf-Frac Wellhead Equipment Company Inc., ruling Thursday that the workers' claims were best handled individually.
