Apple, Simon & Schuster Appeal E-Book Antitrust Ruling

Law360, New York (October 4, 2013, 3:06 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. and Simon & Schuster Inc. indicated Thursday that they planned to appeal a ruling forcing the iPad maker to renegotiate its distribution agreements with five publishers after a federal judge concluded that it had orchestrated an e-book price-fixing plot.
