Expect Renewed SEC Emphasis On Accounting Fraud

Law360, New York (October 4, 2013, 5:47 PM EDT) -- In a Sept. 19 speech at an American Law Institute conference on accountants’ liability, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Enforcement Co-Director Andrew Ceresney described several of the investigative initiatives that are planned for the commission’s new Financial Reporting and Audit Task Force.[1]
