Smith & Nephew, Synthes Patent Case Settled

Law360, New York (February 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has approved a deal that resolves a patent suit Smith & Nephew Plc filed against Synthes Inc. in 2002 and dissolves a 2006 injunction.

On Tuesday, Judge Samuel H. Mays Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee signed off on a stipulation of settlement and consent order dissolving the injunction and dismissing the action with prejudice.
