Corzine, Ex-MF Global Execs Renew $10M Defense Request

By Maria Chutchian (October 7, 2013, 4:31 PM EDT) -- Ex-MF Global Inc. chief Jon Corzine and about 25 other former executives on Friday asked a New York bankruptcy judge to reconsider his denial of their request for an extra $10 million in insurance funds to pay for legal costs related to the brokerage's downfall.

Though U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Martin Glenn left room for the ex-MF Global officials to make another bid for the money after the Second Circuit rules on a related matter, they argued that they don't have time to wait and that they need the insurance money now to defend themselves against claims brought by MF Global's litigation...
