ATP Unit Objects To Anadarko Oil Field Clean-Up Deal

Law360, Houston (October 9, 2013, 10:12 PM EDT) -- A unit of ATP Oil & Gas Corp. said Monday that a deal ATP struck in Texas bankruptcy court with Anadarko Petroleum Corp. and federal regulators to decommission an offshore oil platform should be revised to protect its interest in the rig and associated equipment.

ATP Infrastructure Partners LP filed a limited objection to the decommissioning agreement, saying that Anadarko should be prohibited from selling off the rig known as the Innovator, as well as 200 tons of equipment, chemicals and other materials on the platform...
