Ex-Home Depot Worker Says He Was Fired For Being Gay

Law360, New York (October 9, 2013, 6:51 PM EDT) -- A former Home Depot USA Inc. assistant manager sued the home improvement chain in California state court last week, alleging a plot to fire him for being old and gay.

Hardy “Lex” Housh claims the company placed false disciplinary reports into his file to create a paper trail justifying the February 2012 termination of his 25-year career, as part of a larger, corporate-wide scheme allegedly devised in 2008 to cut costs by removing employees who were older, gay males.
