GoDaddy Liable For Porno CyberSquatter, 9th Circ. Hears

Law360, San Francisco (October 8, 2013, 7:01 PM EDT) -- Leading Malaysian petroleum company Petronas urged the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday to revive its trademark infringement case against Internet domain registrar Inc., arguing that a federal court was wrong to find that GoDaddy wasn’t liable for a cybersquatter’s registration of copycat domains that routed customers to porn websites.
