EIB To Provide Peugeot $407M For Low Carbon Auto Tech

Law360, Los Angeles (October 8, 2013, 7:58 PM EDT) -- The European Investment Bank has agreed to provide French automaker PSA Peugeot Citroen SA with €300 million ($407 million) in financing for the development of low carbon technologies, the EIB’s vice president announced Tuesday.

PSA Peugeot will use the financing for a €792 million program to comply with the Euro 6.2 emission standards of the European Union, which are fully in effect as of 2017.
