J&J Faces Class Action Over 'Natural' Aveeno Sunscreen

Law360, New York (October 8, 2013, 4:59 PM EDT) -- Johnson & Johnson was hit Monday with a proposed class action accusing it of falsely stating that some of its Aveeno brand sunscreen products contain 100 percent “naturally sourced” ingredients, when they actually contain synthetic ingredients.

Plaintiff Heidi Langan alleged she and members of the proposed class paid a premium for Aveeno’s products over comparable sunscreen products that did not purport to be natural.
