Koch's Latest Buy Adds 1,055-MW Texas Power Plant

Law360, New York (October 8, 2013, 3:41 PM EDT) -- A subsidiary of Koch Energy Services LLC said Tuesday it will pick up a 1,055-megawatt power plant that caters to booming West Texas markets, in a deal that lifts ownership from a private equity firm that has overseen the facility since 2011.

Koch did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction, which provides an exit for Energy Capital Partners LLC. Two years ago, the investment firm paid $335 million to take over Odessa Power and boost the firm's energy holdings in Texas.
