Texas Program Will Give Patient Privacy Law Seal Of Approval

Law360, New York (October 8, 2013, 7:40 PM EDT) -- A medical industry consortium will release a government-sponsored road map for compliance with tough new patient privacy laws in Texas, potentially handing a tool to providers, insurers and other health care players fighting liability for wrongful disclosures, Texas officials announced Tuesday.
