SEC Atty Of 'Fabulous Fab' Fame Joins WilmerHale

Law360, Chicago (October 9, 2013, 7:15 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s chief trial lawyer, who made headlines for taking down former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. trader Fabrice Tourre, is heading into private practice at WilmerHale, the firm said Wednesday.

Matthew T. Martens will join the firm’s securities and litigation practices as a partner after spending three years as the head of the SEC Enforcement Division’s litigation program, where he headed up 40 trial attorneys in Washington and litigators throughout the commission’s 11 regional offices, WilmerHale said in a statement.
