Jury Awards $29M To KFx In Suture Patent Row

Law360, Los Angeles (October 9, 2013, 8:00 PM EDT) -- A California federal jury on Wednesday awarded $29 million to KFx Medical Corp. after determining in late August that rival device maker Arthrex Inc. directly and willfully infringed three KFx Medical Corp. patents related to sutures used to connect tissue to bone in reconstructive surgery.
