Judge Stays bcgi Injunction In Freedom Wireless Case

Law360 (December 16, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal appeals court has granted telecommunications company Boston Communications Group’s emergency motion to stay an injunction that would have shut down its prepaid wireless service and cost the company up to 70% of its revenue.

In granting the injunction, the court said that bcgi may continue offering wireless service to its carriers while it appeals the verdict in a patent infringement suit brought by industry rival Freedom Wireless.
