SeaChange Didn't Flout Patent Injunction, Fed. Circ. Says

Law360, New York (October 10, 2013, 3:53 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit ruled Thursday that SeaChange International Inc.'s redesigned version of its on-demand TV system no longer infringes a patent held by Arris Group Inc., rejecting Arris' request that SeaChange be found in contempt of an injunction.

Arris, which won a permanent injunction on SeaChange's interactive TV system after a jury found that it infringed, argued that the redesigned version of SeaChange's product made only minor changes.
