Dismissal Of Agent Orange Case Upheld

Law360 (February 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal appeals court has upheld the dismissal of more than a dozen lawsuits brought against chemical companies over the use of Agent Orange during the Vietnam War.

On Friday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York affirmed lower court rulings that said the plaintiffs did not have standing to bring the case and that the chemical companies could assert a government-contractor defense.
