PrinterOn Sues Competitor Over Cloud Printing Patents

Law360, Los Angeles (October 15, 2013, 4:23 PM EDT) -- Mobile printing platform PrinterOn Inc. hit competitor BreezyPrint Corp. and its contracted provider Uniguest Inc. with a patent infringement lawsuit in Texas federal court Tuesday, accusing the companies of knowingly infringing its secure cloud-based document printing and management technology patents.

The lawsuit raises allegations that the defendants willfully infringed four patents protecting network resource access systems and network resource control systems. Ontario-based PrinterOn says BreezyPrint and U.S. Hospitality Publishers Inc., which operates under the name Uniguest, are aware of PrinterOn’s patents for cloud printing but continue...
