Fla. Appeals Court Reverses $19M Award For Tree Takings

Law360, Miami (October 16, 2013, 10:10 PM EDT) -- A Florida appeals court Wednesday upheld a finding of taking in a class action seeking compensation for the state's destruction of citrus trees, but it reversed an award of $19.2 million, saying the lower court erred in excluding significant scientific evidence in the damages trial.
