College Prep Firm Counters Copyright Suit

Law360, New York (February 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The College Entrance Examination Board, the owner of the SAT exam, has been hit with a countersuit by the Texas college-preparatory firm it sued last week. The Texas firm has claimed that the College Board's copyright infringement suit was an attempt to eliminate its competition.

Dallas-based Karen Dillard College Prep LP filed countersuit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas alleging misappropriation of trade secrets, defamation, unfair competition and civil conspiracy.
