Freshfields Sued Over Bloated M&A Bill

Law360, Los Angeles (October 16, 2013, 8:06 PM EDT) -- The Bancorp Inc. hit Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP with a lawsuit in Pennsylvania state court on Wednesday, alleging the international law firm overcharged for work done on behalf of a Bancorp subsidiary when it sent a €500,000 ($676,600) bill to Bancorp's chief executive officer.
