Jury Axes Texas Lawyers' $42M Claim Against Former Client

Law360, Dallas (October 17, 2013, 8:02 PM EDT) -- A Texas state jury Wednesday rejected two lawyers’ claims they were entitled to $42 million in damages under a contingency agreement with a former client who won full ownership of a water supply company in the underlying suit, but found the client liable for $230,000 in litigation costs.
