Dilworth Paxson's Stabile Wins Open Pa. Superior Court Seat

Law360, Philadelphia (November 6, 2013, 12:18 AM EST) -- Republican Vic Stabile, a partner at Dilworth Paxson LLP, narrowly defeated his Democratic opponent, Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Judge Jack McVay, to take the sole open seat on Pennsylvania’s Superior Court on Tuesday.

Judge McVay conceded the race just before midnight. With nearly 95 percent of districts reporting, Stabile had captured 51.6 percent of the vote, while McVay trailed with 48.4 percent.
