Jury Finds General Re, AIG Execs Guilty Of Fraud

Law360, New York (February 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- After a month-long trial, a federal jury has found four former General Reinsurance executives and a former officer of American International Group guilty of manipulating financial statements.

Former General Re CEO Ronald Ferguson, former General Re CFO Elizabeth Monrad, former General Re Senior Vice Presidents Robert Graham and Christopher Garand, and former AIG Vice President Christian Milton were convicted Monday of conspiracy, securities fraud, making false statements to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and mail fraud.
