$175M Deal Gives 3i Majority Stake In Texas Consulting Firm

Law360, New York (October 21, 2013, 1:17 PM EDT) -- British private equity firm 3i Group PLC will team with management at JMJ Associates LLP to take a controlling stake in the Texas consulting firm in a deal valued at $175 million, the investment outfit said on Monday.

3i did not say how it would split the 55 percent JMJ stake with the senior-level executives investing alongside the firm. It also did not give a financing breakdown or a timetable for the transaction.
