Union Drops Opposition To Mojave Water-Mining Project

Law360, New York (October 21, 2013, 5:18 PM EDT) -- A laborers union has dropped its challenge of a project that would pump billions of gallons of Mojave Desert groundwater to different parts of Southern California, after it received assurances about worker safety and the project’s limited impact on natural resources, manager Cadiz Inc. said Monday.
