Fowler Rodriguez Hit With $4.3M Malpractice Suit

Law360, Houston (October 22, 2013, 5:10 PM EDT) -- A marine transportation company launched a malpractice suit against Fowler Rodriguez in Texas state court on Tuesday, alleging the firm botched federal litigation over a barge supply contract, resulting in a $4.3 million judgment against the company.

UPD Global Resources Inc. says Fowler Rodriguez partner Timothy W. Strickland failed to respond to a motion for summary judgment filed in the underlying lawsuit by PBC Services Inc. without any reasonable explanation for the lapse that led to the adverse award.
