Cammareri Bakery, Of 'Moonstruck' Fame, Hits Ch. 11

Law360, New York (October 23, 2013, 2:53 PM EDT) -- Cammareri Bakery LLC of Brooklyn, N.Y., whose bread shop rose to fame through its role in the Oscar-winning film "Moonstruck," filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in New York federal court Sunday.

The wholesale bakery, which was first opened by Nicolo Cammareri in 1921, filed for Chapter 11 protection in the Eastern District of New York, listing $126,100 in assets and $491,202 in liabilities, most of which is says is unsecured credit.
