Calif. Court Reopens Social Services Whistleblower Suit

Law360, Washington (October 22, 2013, 10:04 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court revived a whistleblower's suit alleging retaliation by the state Department of Social Services, ruling Tuesday that California’s Whistleblower Protection Act does not strictly require a WPA claim to be filed with the relevant agency before bringing suit.
