2nd Circ. Kills Contribution Caps For Lhota-Aligned PAC

Law360, Los Angeles (October 24, 2013, 9:59 PM EDT) -- A political action committee supporting New York City Republican mayoral candidate Joe Lhota can receive unlimited contributions from individuals, the Second Circuit ruled Thursday, citing the U.S. Supreme Court’s Citizens United v. Federal Election Committee decision blocking enforcement of the state’s campaign finance law.
