Law360, San Francisco (October 24, 2013, 4:15 PM EDT) -- Detaining terrorism suspects abroad for years before bringing them to trial in United States federal court doesn't necessarily violate their constitutional right to a speedy trial, the Second Circuit ruled Thursday, denying convicted terrorist Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani's appeal of his life sentence.
