FTC Orders Solera To Off-Load Auto Software Business

Law360, New York (October 24, 2013, 8:39 PM EDT) -- The Federal Trade Commission unanimously approved on Thursday a settlement requiring Solera Holdings Inc. to divest the software business it purchased as part of its $8.7 million acquisition of rival Actual Systems of America Inc. and two related companies — a deal the FTC had branded anti-competitive.
